Here we go. Do it at home tonight and we're back in it (captain obvious has spoken).

The crowd is hopefully as amped as the last series.

Aside from being owned in game one and losing what was a pretty close game in game 2, this series just doesn't feel like playoff hockey so far, IMO. The crowd in Anaheim doesn't help.

The production value doesn't help either. The commentary is dreadful with Romaniuk and Johnson.

I'd like to see Hartley have some faith in the players that got us here and keep the top line together. Backlund HAS to find some ability to fight through the traffic and create scoring opportunities. the 4th line needs to crash and bang and the D needs to play through the forecheck.
I agree with Drak, the series doesn't have the same energy, viciousness, or general intensity as I'd have expected. Its funny, was watching the Hawks/ Wild game and they mentioned how gentlemanly the game was, no real fire... same in this series. If Wolfman is in, he needs to stir the pot, Bollig needs to run amok. Engellend needs to get in the face of Perry, Getzlaf, etc, etc... time to raise the bar and get dirty...

My guess is Ducks win in 5. Flames take tonight and the Ducks put the foot down and destroy them for the next two.

Sorry guys The Ducks were just a bad match up.

We don't need any sympathy from the fans of other poop teams. A series isn't lost until the home team loses so this is still far from over.

Backlund has more shots in these playoffs than any other Flame. Id say hes fought through the traffic just fine. He needs go find the back of the net or have his wingers fi d a way get to rebounds.

The last 2 periods saw the Flames have some success! Our d was carrying the puck up the ice and our forwards were on the forecheck. If we don't put any pressure on the Ducks d, this series will b e done.
If the Wolfman's not going to hit then we may as well dress Byron at least he hits and has speed to boot. Our big guys need to take it to the net and cause some crap for Freddie! No way Stagan should lead this team in hits. Come on boys grow some balls and make a series out of this!
We need Bouma and Ferdland playing! Any word on them?

Play Flames hockey and we'll all be happy regardless!

Go! Flames!

They need to start getting some hits on Vatenen, Lindholm and Fowler...these guys have way too much time and space right now to make plays.

Even if Flames win tonight, they will still lose the series. Ducks blew leads to Detroit and LA the last two years. Calgary is a good team, but they aren't Detroit or LA. I do predict that the Flames will win one at home (but only one) and the series will finish in Anaheim on Sunday.

What's wrong with the crowd in Anaheim. I know they're not Winnipeg but I was there both games and they were plenty loud.

Meh. Doesn't come across that way on the tele. But as I say, the production values on SN for this series are pretty poor.

Bring on your Red Mile, they thrive on the noise. Look what the great White Out did for Winnipeg.

I give the Flames maybe one win!

Being loud is one thing. My kids baseball games can be loud...Watch the game tonight from Calgary and you'll get it.

Honest question, do the majority of Ducks fans (in the Honda center) get the game?

They say to never judge a series until both teams have at least played one game at home......

NHL hockey has been in Southern California for nearly 50 years. I think the fans here get it.
